before i start blabbing again on this post 
, i would like to invite you all to check out “my mom’s obsession”. i just edited it and uploaded the video my sister and i took during the halftime. we have a lot of videos during the game (basically of the whole event because my mom wanted us to document EVERYTHING!) but i just uploaded this one. 
i also hope you can check out “Award Winning?”. rose passed on these awards to me and now i’m passing them on to mikyu, aimee, shalee, leslie, nadine, deann, and janile.
now, on to what this post is really all about.
in my previous entry, i mentioned that i was uploading a video at vimeo.com which was taking forever! i tried re-uploading it three times already but for some reason, every single attempt ends up the same. i don’t know what the hell is the problem with vimeo! 
the video becomes widescreen when originally it was 960 x 720 (stretched sideways tuloy yung video… ang pangit tingnan!). 
‘this video’ happens to be the music video i edited as a tribute to my college friends whom i love so much! d’ hacienderas…
you may be wondering why we call ourselves the “hacienderas”. it’s really random actually. every one of us is very different from each other but one thing we have in common is that we always come up with the corniest jokes ever! in short, ang corny namin! we don’t try to be, we just are… 
corny jokes -> corny -> CORN -> hacienda -> HACIENDERAS!
my good friend, mikyu, wrote the history of our barkada in her multiply. you can check it out to know more about us! but my apologies to those who can’t speak bisaya, you might not be able to understand certain terms in the post. but i still hope you’ll take time to read it.. 
i hope you can still enjoy this video that i made and worked hard on… even if vimeo messed it all up! 
it’s basically what my friends and i are like when we are together. (crazy, fun, silly and YOUNG!) tell me what you think of the video… i would really appreciate your comments. 
more about the “hacienderas”!
yesterday (march 12, 2009) was shalee’s birthday! and we decided to have a “children’s party” as a celebration (emphasis on the “CHILDREN’s”). shalee’s first plan was to take us to yellow cab for some pizza (because she has a gift certificate. 
). but when we were in the school canteen and were talking about shalee’s upcoming birthday, i mentioned how i was planning to have a “kids’ party” for my birthday last january (i took them to starbucks instead because i didn’t have time to plan for a kids’ party) and how i’ve never experience being in a kids’ party. 
shalee liked the idea!!! so i started enumerating stuff that we should have for the party. number one on my list were party hats! those undersized ones… but unfortunately, they can’t be found anywhere so we weren’t able to buy any. then there were ‘torotots’ (you know the ones that curl?), party poppers and of course balloons! we were all so excited! and since we were having a “children’s” party, why not look like one? (or at least try. 
) so we decided to wear outfits that make us look like 5-year-olds. haha! we had the party at the rooftop of aimee’s bhauz because her boarding house was the nearest in school.

i’m so lucky and grateful to have such wonderful people around me and i will forever treasure our friendship.
