Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD), or, more broadly, internet overuse, problematic computer use or pathological computer use, is excessive computer use that interferes with daily life.
- How often do others in your life complain to you about the amount of time you spend on-line?
- How often do you check your e-mail before something else that you need to do?
- How often do you block out disturbing thoughts about your life with soothing thoughts of the Internet?
- How often do you snap, yell, or act annoyed if someone bothers you while you are on-line?
- How often do you lose sleep due to late-night log-ins?
- How often do you try to cut down the amount of time you spend on-line and fail?
those are just some of the questions asked from the Internet Addiction Test (IAT) that i just took. and as expected, the results showed that i was/am an internet addict.

what do you think really makes the internet so addictive?
for most of my peers (shoutout to my sis! LOL
) they’d say it’s Facebook, while others (especially guys…) spend countless hours playing online games.
i’m not into any of these stuff at all… i hardly ever open my facebook account!
so what do i do online then? come to think of it, i really don’t do anything… nothing productive at least.
